ISSA Chicago-Student Initiative

Exciting News!!

We’re thrilled to share that our student community has grown to 252 members since launching in January 2024! This steady rise highlights the impact of bringing students together from across universities.

Here’s how our student group continues to grow:

Centralized Student Chapter: Launched in Jan 2024, the chapter now connects students from 18 different universities, building a strong cross-campus network.

Consistent Student Engagement: Our monthly in-person Student Connect meetups after each ISSA chapter meeting, along with virtual meetings, career events and volunteer opportunities have created a vibrant and engaging space keeping students connected and encouraging peer-to-peer growth.

Peer Growth: As students experience the value of the group, they bring their peers in making this a truly student-driven movement.
